About Tymescythe Theatre Company
Since the early 90s, Tymescythe has worked to produce theatre at the highest possible standards, with the involvement of people at all levels of experience.
In recent years a run of Shakespeare plays have been produced: The Tempest (2015), Shakespeare on Love (selected scenes from Shakespeare, 2016), Romeo and Juliet (2017), Henry V (2023) and A Midsummer Nights Dream (2024).
Productions since The Tempest have been staged at St. Michael’s Church, where a stage and backdrop are raised - creating a unique and atmospheric theatre: The Theatre in the Church.
