The Church (A Theatre)

Tymescythe Theatre Company has produced plays inside the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Chagford since 2015.

During the run of a play, staging, lighting and sound transform the ancient and beautiful church into a unique, atmospheric space, a miniature version of an Elizabethan theatre. The central stage is framed by the medieval granite pillars and a high wooden vault.
